Submit Your Biggest Bottlenecks

The retreat is built around you — what you send here shapes both the seminars and the open-topic sessions. Tell us the bottlenecks, challenges and questions you want the room to dig into, and we'll build the sessions around them.

What to send us

  • A challenge you're stuck on right now
  • A topic or talk you'd love us to lead
  • Something you'd like to hear other owners tackle

Submissions come straight to the hosts. The earlier the better — send yours before you travel.

Two quick questions: your biggest bottlenecks, and anything you want covered.

Staying On In Lisbon

Flying in early or hanging around after the retreat? Lisbon is worth it. These are our favourite areas to base yourself, and why.

Riverfront · to the coast

Cais do Sodré

Buzzy riverfront by the Time Out Market — and the train to Cascais and the main beaches leaves straight from here. Central and well-connected.

On the map →
Central & elegant

Chiado

The elegant heart of the city — handsome streets, historic cafés and the best shopping. Right in the middle of everything.

On the map →
Stylish & leafy

Príncipe Real

Lisbon's most stylish quarter — independent boutiques, garden squares and some of the best restaurants in the city.

On the map →
Old-money & quiet

Lapa

One of Lisbon's most affluent districts — quiet, leafy streets of grand 19th-century mansions and embassies. Refined and residential.

On the map →
Elegant & green

Estrela

Genteel and green, built around the domed Basílica da Estrela and its park. Calm, classic and central.

On the map →
Lively & young

Santos

A livelier, younger part of town with a design-district feel, plenty of bars and a good night-out crowd.

On the map →
The old town

Alfama

Lisbon's oldest quarter — tangled lanes, tiled façades, Fado bars and viewpoints over the river. All character.

On the map →
Museums & slower pace

Belém

Grand riverside district with the original pastéis, big museums and monuments. Greener, calmer, slower-paced.

On the map →
Beach escape · the coast

Cascais

The coast's most upmarket town — long home to Lisbon's older, well-off set. Beaches, seafood and a relaxed resort feel.
